What Is a Neural Network?
A Neural Network is a computer program inspired by how the human brain works.
Just like your brain has neurons (nerve cells) that connect and pass information, neural networks have layers of artificial neurons that do the same. These digital neurons process numbers (data), learn patterns, and help machines make decisions.
How It Works – In 3 Simple Steps
1. Input Layer:
Receives raw data. For example, a photo of a cat.
2. Hidden Layers:
These layers find patterns in the data, such as edges, shapes, colors, and other features.
3. Output Layer:
Gives the final result – for example, “It’s a cat!”
Each connection has a weight (importance). During training, the network adjusts these weights to improve its accuracy. This process is called learning.
